About Our Founders
Bob Budah
The Visionary Behind STEM Titans
Bob Budah has been a seasoned camp owner for over 50 years with a passion for providing children with enriching, life-changing experiences. His camp’s very successful STEM program became the inspiration for STEM Titans, a program that does not require a certified STEM teacher and is equipped with everything needed to run a successful camp STEM program. With his many years of experience, Bob understands the unique challenges and opportunities camps face, making the STEM Titans program a perfect fit for camps of all sizes and structures. He believes that camps are a perfect alternative learning environment where children can develop 21st-century skills of critical thinking, collaborative teamwork, creativity, and adaptability needed for their future success. He also understands that this program can enable camp owners to increase their enrollment and revenue while serving their camp families with a much needed program. His partnership with Leslie Watik, an award-winning curriculum developer and staff trainer for over 40 years has enabled the STEM Titans program to be created in a way that will bring success to all camps that incorporate it into their existing programs.
Leslie Watnik
The Visionary Educator Igniting the Spark of STEM
Award-winning STEM educator Leslie Watnik has dedicated 40 years to children’s education. She is frequently invited to lead regional conferences and professional development sessions to train teachers and districts on effective STEM experiences. Additionally, Leslie collaborates with the International Technology, Engineering, and Education Association (ITEEA), universities, and international EdTech companies as a STEM curriculum consultant. Her passion for STEM drives ongoing educational advancements, resulting in countless students benefiting from the innovative and rigorous programs she has created.
